I was born in Béziers, in the county of the Hérault. I grew up in Quarante in a family that counted several generations of wine-growers. I wanted to do something different, and so I did paramedical studies and spent a number of years abroad.
At the end of this period, I felt a need to return to my origins. I rediscovered my native region and embraced a new profession. Conserving and valorising the family heritage became a priority, and the idea of disappointing my father, who in my eyes was courage, determination and success in person, was unthinkable.
I had to adapt, learn and persevere.
